If we add to these factors that we often wear hats which turn out to be authentic hotbeds of bacteria and that it is the season most prone to ailments, contrasted with the frequent use of drugs whose residues are also expelled through the skin, it is not difficult to understand why in the winter we frequently inherit an intoxicated scalp, with increased sebum and dandruff and consequent compromised activity of the bulbs.
The hair, in turn, already exposed to unfavorable climatic conditions, is even more vulnerable as it is affected by the alteration of the balance of the scalp and consequent slowed supply of nutritional principles, essential for their growth and well-being.
Furthermore, very often they are subjected to particularly aggressive and invasive chemical treatments (colouring, bleaching, perms) or physical treatments (straighteners, hairdryers), making the situation even more compromised.
To help our hair regain health and beauty and prepare it for the arrival of the summer season, it is therefore necessary to eliminate winter waste from the scalp and implement treatments that restore firmness and vitality to the lengths.
THE PROFESSIONAL PEELING PROCESS
The first treatment to be implemented is certainly the professional peeling which consists of deep cleaning of the follicular ostia, the hair exit holes, to free them from excess sebum, dandruff and toxins of all kinds.

The sebum which together with sweat contributes to forming the hydrolipidic film, i.e. the natural protection of the skin from external pathogens, when present in excess ends up altering the natural balance, modifying the slight acidity of the pH of the scalp and consequently exposing it to attacks by bacteria, fungi, microbes and viruses, which then amplify their presence as they feed on the sebum itself.
The altered sebum is then particularly aggressive towards the hair, as its natural composition is modified, with a prevalence of irritating substances with an almost abrasive power, capable of damaging the cuticle and destructuring it.
Very often sebum is then accompanied by dandruff, caused by an alteration of the normal renewal cycle of cells which are unable to reach full maturation and form the right barrier, contributing to generating inflammatory states and severe suffering.
It is clear that, in such a context, hair cannot grow at its best.

It is a highly professional product which, given the high presence of particularly active ingredients, must be used EXCLUSIVELY mixed with PEELING CREAM AF.
PEELING CREAM AF
It is a creamy emulsion specifically designed to deeply clean the follicular ostium and free it from excess sebum and dandruff, while still keeping the skin softened and free of irritation.
Among the main components we mention Sage Extract, Rosemary Extract, Climbazole, with antifungal properties, which is particularly active against the Malassezia Furfur fungus, the main cause of dandruff, Peppermint Essential Oil, Panthenol or Provitamin B5, capable of retaining skin moisture and repairing skin lesions caused by inflammation.
PEELING CREAM AF can also be used alone, for a deep but non-invasive cleansing and is not for exclusively professional use, so it represents a valid maintenance after the treatment in the salon or, before the specific scalp shampoo, responsible for regulating the production of sebum (Sebum Regulating Shampoo SB) or to combat dandruff (Dandruff Shampoo DF), to increase its effectiveness.
Mixed together and evenly distributed on the scalp, SKIN PURIFICANT and PEELING CREAM AF free the skin from all impurities, eliminating tension and inflammatory conditions.
At this point, after having adequately prepared the skin, it becomes essential to proceed with the SECOND TREATMENT, to give new vitality to the bulbs and thus promote hair growth.
VITALIZING TREATMENT
The IKS natural extraction trichological line offers its vitalizing and hair loss prevention treatment according to the I.K.S. method, through the use of CD VITALIZING SHAMPOO and the VITALIZING ESSENCE lotions (for treatment in the salon) and VITALIZING ESAROME (for maintenance home), based on Essential Oils.
VITALISING CD SHAMPOO

Among its components we mention the Essential Oils of Ceylon Cinnamon, Mountain Pine, Lavender Flowers and Ylang Ylang with skin-purifying, toning, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Due to the high percentage of natural active ingredients, it is intended exclusively for professional use by experienced personnel.
ESAROME VITALIZING
It is a mix of Essential Oils, carefully selected to reactivate the microcirculation of the scalp, present in a lower percentage than those of Vitalizing Essence and therefore suitable for maintenance at home or for a treatment to be carried out without the help of a professional, but however, if carried out regularly according to the instructions provided, equally effective.
Among the components we mention Rosemary and Sage Extract, Tea Tree, Mountain Pine, Lavender, Ceylon Cinnamon and Ylang Ylang Essential Oils.
At this point it is necessary to check the conditions of the lengths which, weakened by the altered activity of the bulbs and by an often non-optimal skin, stressed by adverse atmospheric agents, perhaps subjected to chemical treatments (colouring, bleaching) and physical (straighteners, hairdryers, etc. ), they frequently appear dry, fragile, wrinkled, dull, with even serious lesions to the cuticles or to the structure of the stems and therefore predisposed to having split ends, to break easily and to fall early.
If the hair is colored, often the color tends to be opaque and quickly discharged.... Yes because the beauty of an artificially colored hair does not only depend on the quality of the color used, but also on the condition of the hair... the healthier they are, the brighter a colour will be, not altered in the shade chosen and it will last for a long time.
The THIRD TREATMENT consists of a restructuring action of the hair, technically known as Reconstruction, to be carried out with products that are able to return lost substances (water, proteins, fat substances, minerals), spilled from raised cuticles or fractured barrels.
RECONSTRUCTION
Reconstruction according to the I.K.S. method begins with the cleaning of the lengths which, as we have seen, have different characteristics and problems from those of the skin, with a specific shampoo that is able to wash gently without stress and that can simultaneously perform a restructuring, nourishing and moisturizing effect.
The IKS line offers two different shampoos depending on the type of hair.
For thin hair the shampoo is SHAMPOO FRAGILE HAIR TK, volumizing effect, rich in fatty acids and vegetable proteins.
Among its components we mention Hydrolysed Wheat Proteins which contain amino acids similar to those present in hair and which bring strength and volume, carrying out an important restructuring action, Gingko Biloba which promotes the microcirculation and therefore the assimilation of nutritional principles for more robust and volumized hair, Panthenol (or provitamin B5) which helps thehair to retain moisture humidity, promoting hydration and Hypnea Musciformis, a small marine algae with high anti-free radical properties.
The TK Fragile Hair Shampoo has an excellent action on fine and frizzy hair, often caused by water and protein loss following too aggressive chemical treatments (discolorations, permanent, inadequate colors) or physical invasive (ironing with hair dryer and plates, too energetic brushes...).
For hair with a thick diameter, very dry and porous, with damaged cuticles that cause water dispersion and ease to assimilate it from the outside (becoming frizzy and unruly), the shampoo is SHAMPOO EMOLLIENT EM.
Among its components we mention the Aloe Barbadensis Extract, refreshing, hydrating and softening, the Chamomile Extract Matricaria with decongestant and soothing properties, Hydrolyzed Keratin with strong restructuring properties and the polymer Polyquaternium 10 > which wraps the hair making it more elastic and electricity-free.
Structured specifically for the outer keratin layer, SHAMPOO EMOLLIENT EM gives nourishment and hydration, making also the hair more rebellious, soft and disciplined. When used regularly, it has an excellent tip-splitting prevention effect.
After the shampoo it is important to perform intensive and specific actions, aimed at remedying the damage suffered by the stem and cuticle.
The specific product for reconstructing the structure of the hair and restoring its integrity, is KERATINE HK of the tricologic line IKS, complex based on vegetable proteins, amino acids and oils keratin that regenerates the hair structure, making lengths voluminous, shiny and resistant.
It also has an important moisturizing and toning action of the skin and, thanks to the presence of The Green extract, rich in polyphenols, caffeine and vitamins of the group B, is an excellent free radical inhibitor, helping to prevent the damage of this phenomenon.
To intensify its effectiveness, we recommend applying KERATINE HK even before the first shampoo, on dry hair and skin. Left in the pose of ten minutes under heat, it performs its function at maximum, restoring the protein structure of the hair and making them immediately more full-bodied and volumized.
After having removed with the second shampoo, it is advisable to apply a product that gives softness and restore hydration, nourishment and elasticity.
REPAIR CREAM RC, also from the IKS trichological line, is an intensive restructuring cream which, thanks to its slightly acidic pH, helps to close the raised cuticles, making it particularly suitable for damaged hair or subjected to chemical treatments (coloring, bleaching, perms). ) or physical.
With avocado oil, extract of Aloe Barbadensis, Extract of Ginkgo Biloba and protein vegetable soy and wheat, provides valuable elements, making the hair shiny, soft and easily unscrambling.

To complete the restructuring treatment we recommend then MINERAL ACID MA, bivalent product, able to return to skin and hair minerals and other substances essential for their health, leaving hair soft, hydrated and bright and rested skin free of itching and irritation.
Thanks to its plant-based components, which give it a slightly acidic pH, Mineral Acid MA helps to restructure the damaged cuticles of lengths and is able to return to normal values of acidity altered scalp in its pH for various reasons, restoring its well-being and natural balance.
